【教案】高中英语必修二 unit5: music warming up and reading

[教学目标]:
    一、知识与技能
    1、掌握话题语言的运用、就熟悉的音乐话题表达看法;
    2、了解各种各样的音乐形式,深化对音乐的认识;
    3、学会从一般文字资料中获取主要信息、思考话题背后的更深层次的内容,学会深入发掘和探讨。
    二、过程与方法
    1、听音乐,感受音乐风格;
    2、分组讨论、合作练习;
    3、结合所知,分类整理与归纳。
    三、情感态度与价值观
    1、增添音乐欣赏趣味,提高音乐修养;
    2、懂得在日常交流中与他人分享各种学习资源、理解并尊重他人;
    3、培养合作精神和积极乐观的人生态度。

[教学重点]:
    1、掌握有关音乐的单词、熟练运用课文中所出现的重要词汇与短语
    2、进一步熟悉有关建议与偏好的表达方式
[教具准备]:多媒体、音乐文件
[课时分配]:1课时

Teaching procedures:
Step1: warming up by asking questions
    1.Do you like music? How much do you know about music? Can you tell about the different kinds of music? Please turn to page 33. Look at the pictures. Let’s listen to some music. Let’s see if you can guess which music matches with which picture.
 
    2.What would you do if you are free today? If  no class, no homework,everything you like,a lot of friends? What would you do ?

    In a word, music is of  great importance in our daily life.Just like the following old saying goes:
    Without music, life is a journey through a desert.       没有音乐,生活就像沙漠之旅
    Music is the medicine of the breaking heart.        音乐是治疗心伤的良药

Step2: learning some words about music
    blues蓝调    hip-hop嘻哈音乐      carol 颂歌    R&B节奏布鲁斯
    musician 音乐家 composer 作曲家   audience 听众,观众  album 专辑
    conductor 指挥家  solo 独奏  lyric歌词     classical music 古典音乐

    folk music 民族音乐         pop music 流行音乐

Step3:two tasks:
    Task1:Can you name any music style,the teacher will play music first ,and let students guess the name and style of the music,each music will only be played for 30 seconds,the students are required to answer the questions by rasising their hands.
    Task 2:Discussion
    Now discuss the following questions with your partner
    1.What kind of music do you like?
    2.Which singer do you like best and why?
    These phrases will help you.
    I prefer…                        Why do you prefer…
    I like …best because…  I hate….
    My favorite singer is…  I enjoy listening to…
 
    The teacher will present the possible answer,then let the students form their own dialogue
    What kind of music do you like better Chinese or Western,  classical or modern? Why?
    I like Chinese music because I think Chinese music is easy to understand. It is our culture.
    I like classical music because it is serious and make people inspired(被鼓舞).
    It can last long.    
    Sample dialogue:
    A:What kind of music do you like, pop music  or …?
    B:I like…, because…
    A:Who is your favorite singer?
    B:Well, I prefer /like…
     Her/his music makes me feel…
     Who do you prefer?
    A: I like ….
    B: …

Step4:homework
    1,wirte a composition about your favorit music
    2,preview the reading passgae on page34.

[教学反思]:课后,让学生课后查资料,了解乐队的组建以及不同音乐风格的特点,然后写一篇有关自己最喜爱的歌手或乐队的文章,可以模仿课文的写作方式,也可以自由发挥。在此基础上学习课文,能把握课文全局,有利于提高学生的阅读能力,但在教学中也存在一些不足,一节听说结合的教学,语言知识很容易被学生忽视,因此在教学中要适当的使学生注意语言知识。
